Antione Pichon, born in 1996 in Pontarlier, France, studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria from 2013 to June of 2017. In September, he will start a Bachelor programme at the Royal College of Music in London. There he will be a pupil of the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Peter Jablonski. In 2012, Antoine was unanimously awarded the First Prize at the Vulaines-sur-Seine Piano Competition. Antione gave his first solo recital in Novi Sad, Serbia during the 8th World Piano Conference in July of 2016 and has been invited to perform again for the ninth edition of this festival. He has attended numerous masterclasses with Alexander Bonduriansky, Mayron Tsong and Oxana Yablonskaya, among others. Antione is delighted to participate at the 5th Dublin International Piano Festival & Summer Academy, with the support of the Charles Villiers Stanford Scholarship Award.
