Heidi Wall performs piano concertos, solo piano recitals, and chamber music. She has performed for the KW Chamber Music Society, NUMUS, the Canadian Music Competition Gala, the Kitchener Waterloo Community Orchestra, the Cantiama Academy of Choral Music, and the Elmira Music Teachers Association.
Heidi Wall has received two gold medals at the Canadian Music Competition for Solo and Chamber categories. Having completed chamber residencies at the esteemed Banff Centre in Alberta, Ms. Wall recorded the Brahms Trio No. 2 with the Schweigen Trio and Schöenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire with the Gruppo Montebello and sprechstimme Marianne Pousseur, conducted by Henk Guittart, Schöenberg specialist and former violist of the Schöenberg String Quartet. She has participated in The Orford Festival and Scotia Music Festival.
Heidi holds an Undergraduate Degree in Honours Piano Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she studied with pianist Anya Alexeyev. While there, she was awarded the Alumni Gold Medal for Music and won the WLU Concerto Competition to perform Rachamaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with the WLU Orchestra.
