KitaJun Yu was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He began playing piano at the age of four and began finding his interest in classical piano at 15. KitaJun Yu started school at HakuYari Izumi kindergarten in March of 1999, in the next twelve years he attended and graduated from Takarazuka Agra Municipal Elementary School, and Minoo Jiyugakuen Secondary School. He began his musical educational career at Kobe Rokko Island Municipal High School of Fine Arts and graduated in March 2011. KitaJun Yu then placed into the Osaka College of Music with special recommendation and scholarship. He would drop out of Osaka College of Music to pursue his professional career in classical music.

In his pursuit of a professional career in music KitaJun Yu has won countless awards. His career began on January 18th, on the Japan nationwide concert tour at the age of 18. KitaJun Yu has appeared on TV shows and other broadcasts in Japan. He has also gone on three national tours across Japan spreading his love for classical music. His awards vary from a special awards ceremony with the President of Indonesia and sponsorships such as building management company Yoshiso Daito Corporation and many others. KitaJun Yu has many awards and looks to keep adding to his collection as he betters himself as a master pianist.
