Originally from Hong Kong, classical pianist Rhythmie Wong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2012, where she studied with Professor Eleanor Wong. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Professor Victor Rosenbaum. Rhythmie has won a number of awards in prestigious piano competitions. Being a winner of the Marion Rubin Berman Piano Honors Competition, Rhythmie also won 2nd Prize in the New York International Artist Piano Competition, 3rd Prize in the Hudson Concerto Competition, 1st Prize in the 3rd Kawai Asia Piano Competition. She won 1st Prize in the 71st Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition in the Hong Kong Region, along with winning 2nd Prize in China Region. Rhythmie “wowed” judges and attained 1st Prize in Hong Kong- Shenzhen- Macau Piano Competition, as well as earning 1st Prize in the Mozart Music Competition. She also gained nine championships in the Hong Kong Schools’ Music Festival.
