Ella Nagy, piano
Ella Nagy started studying piano at the age of 5 with Dr. Ilona Czitrovsky at the Frédéric Chopin Music School in Hungary. When she was 11, Ella moved with her family to Ireland. She has been one of the four participants in the Wiliiam Finlay Programme for 2013-2015, where she played at a Lunch-time Recital in the National Concert Hall and in Cork School of Music as part of the programme. She has been the Jury Secretary for the 10th Dublin International Piano Competition in 2015.  She is a prizewinner in a large number of competitions in Feis Ceol, Piano Fest in the Royal Irish Academy of Music, EPTA, Kilcoole Music Festival, Kilkenny Music Festival and Waterford Music Festival. She has had masterclasses with international artists such as John O'Conor, Pavel Nersessian, Hilary Coates, Finghin Collins, and Joseph Moog. Ella studies with Márta Erdei in the Royal Irish Academy of Music where she has obtained a scholarship after every annual assessment. She is taking part in John O'Conor's Beethoven Bootcamp this year for the second time under a scholarship programme, and is very excited to be participating in the Dublin International Piano Festival and Summer Academy.
