Goh Wei Jing (Jing) obtained her Grade 8 practical certificates with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in year 2006 and she decided to pursue music as a career undertaking the Diploma in Music in SEGi College, Malaysia. She was awarded the Associate Diploma of the London College of Music in Pianoforte Performance in 2007. In 2010, Jing received a distinction in her Licentiate Diploma for Pianoforte Performance from Trinity College London (LTCL). She was awarded a BA (Hons) in Applied Music from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2013 and she was the piano accompanist for DkIT choir during her undergraduate studies. Jing is actively involved in many musical activities. She has performed for the former President of Ireland, Mary McAleese and has participated in several sessions of master classes with many internationally acclaimed pianists. She has also taken part in major music festivals in Malaysia including the Piano Festival organized by Christopher Norton, and Kuala Lumpur Contemporary Music Festival (KLCMF). Last year, she performed in the National Concert Hall in Dublin for the Annual Student New Music Marathon 2013 organized by The Contemporary Music Centre. She is awarded a full scholarship by DkIT to pursue her research Masters in Piano Performance.
