French pianist, Paul Drouet is a laureate of numerous international competitions. After studies at the Conservatoire de Versailles with Edda Erlendsdottir, he was admitted in 2011 to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in the class of Denis Pascal and Laurent Cabasso. He obtained his Master’s under the guidance of Hortense Cartier-Hresson and participated in the masterclasses for world famous pianists including Dominique Merlet, Jacque Rouvier, and Benedetto Lupo. Paul is a founding member of the Trio Guermantes, performing regularly in France and abroad and exploring French repertoire from the turn of the century. Passionate about symphonic music, he created the Orchestre du Lycée Hoche in Versailles and studied conducting under Mathieu Herzog and Georges Pehlivanian. He is currently conductor of the Orchestre du Conservatoire de Viroflay.
