Seymour Arpregilio, piano
Seymour Apregilio is currently an undergraduate at Truman State University studying under Dr. David McKamie. Playing since the age of three, she began her studies with Ms. Barbara Harville. Before university, Seymour annually auditioned and achieved membership with the Piano Guild of the National Fraternity of Student Musicians, and also had twelve consecutive superior ratings at the National Federation of Music Clubs festival, earning her a 60-point cup. At Truman, she keeps herself busy with solo and collaborative efforts. She plays in the top wind symphony, symphony orchestra, and new music ensemble on top of accompanying a variety of instrumental soloists throughout the school year. She enjoys participating in various student-ran ensembles, most recently performing Brahms’ Clarinet Trio in A Minor with her trio dubbed “The Eyeglasses Trio”. Seymour is a recent alum of the International Music Fraternity for Women, Sigma Alpha Iota, where she served as Recording Secretary and held chairs in Program and Formal committees.
